Our babies are looked after with lots of love and care – even before they start, enjoying three taster sessions to help them get used to new surroundings. With a staff ratio of 1: 3 there are always lots of people on hand to play, help or give a cuddle. The babyroom teams are led by Olesya and by Stephanie.

The menus follow a 4-week cycle and are created to fit current guidelines. We cook on site, using fresh food and ingredients wherever possible – often including vegetables grown in our own garden. There's a vegetarian option if required and care taken to follow other dietary needs.

These independent little people are given more choice in their days, though still within a carefully planned framework. There's a staff ratio of 1:4 to provide lots of guidance and helping hands. Rooms leaders are Meha and Margo.

Mealtimes here are usually busy chatty sessions, with lots of requests for 'more please' .

The children now are usually confident and skilful little learners, busy with creative and investigative activities, often with close friends and clear preferences. It's much more like being in a school reception class. Staffing ratio is 1: 8 and the team is led by Miss Charisse and Miss Amelia..
